This Philadelphia String Quartet is comprised of professional, experienced, and dependable musicians. For almost 15 years, we have performed at weddings, corporate events, private dinners , and more . Our experience allows us to work individually with each client to ensure the success of our performance and of the event as a whole.
We play over 150 wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions each year. This means we have mastered the skills of timing , flexibility , and performance and we accommodate for a variety of wedding traditions and song requests . Our vast repertoire ranges from classical and traditional pieces to pop and jazz. If you don't see your favorite song listed in our repertoire , please request it and we will do our best to learn it for your event.

Philadelphia String Quartet's set the tone for the entire wedding with their beautiful music and tone. I am a professional musician and I was very particular with the music for my son's wedding. Radhi Santos was excellent to work with and impressed my son's fiance with the time that he spent with her planning songs for the ceremony. I would highly recommend String Poets to anyone. The group is made up of professional musicians who perform as principals with major area orchestras. They are highly trained and take pride in their work. Many thanks to the String Poets for playing at our wedding. The music played a very important part in our wedding, as you know, and you performed the pieces just as I wanted them to be played! At one point I was swaying to the music(I think it was Vocalise) and my husband even noticed me doing it, just in the moment and enjoying everything about the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person! I was running a bit late from the hairdresser and I just had to get upstairs and get dressed and be ready in 30 min. Radhi, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for the beautiful music at Sarah's wedding. When I had my final review with the owner, Mark Lynch, I urged him to add the String Poets to their list of preferred vendors -- so I hope he does follow through. I just got back from my honeymoon and have been hearing rave reviews about the wedding. Everyone had such a great time!!! I'm sorry I was unable to speak with you throughout the crazy night, but I had sooooo much fun. Everyone agreed that the music was beautifully performed, and you were beyond amazing dealing with the hectic schedule, making the location changes, and composing Doug and I such a special first dance on short notice. That song was absolutely perfect; I wish somebody recorded it so I could listen to it over and over! Anyway, I was never able to formally thank you for all the work that you did. It was great having someone so professional and so talented that I didn't need to think about the string quartet all day/night... I just enjoyed the music!
